Heavy clashed have been continuing through the night in Til Ebyad where a big Kurdish community live. It is understood that groups linked to Al Qaida are fighting with Kurdish Defence Units (YPG).

The clashes have begun around 10pm last night near the border with Turkey. YPG engaged in clashes against Al Qaida-linked groups like Irak-Şam İslam Devleti and Al Nusra Front. Clashes on the religious groups side are reported.

In the past couple of days the YPG has reported that 69 Jabhat al Nusra fighters were killed in clashes around the cities of Tirbespîyê (al-Qahtaniya) and Girkê Legê (Al-Ma’bada).
In the last few days over 50 civilian Kurds have been executed by Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS members in Til Eran and Til Hasil. Most of the civilians executed are mothers, fathers and siblings to Jabhat al-Ekrad members (Jabhat al-Ekrad have been fighting both the ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra)
