ISIS gangs trapped in Raqqa city center continue using civilians as human shields in an attempt to hinder the progress of YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

SDF fighters made further advances amid violent clashes ongoing since yesterday. The areas where ISIS gangs try to hold on were taken under intense fire.

The civilians rescued by SDF special units are being transferred to safe areas under SDF control.
