As the Crime Scene investigation on Amed bombings continues, lawyers in the crime scene state that cluster bombs with thousands of small steel marbles were used in the massacre.

Police began to show its reluctance on finding who is responsible for the attack as officers said that flags and banners may have blocked the camera footage attained from nearby cameras. Crime scene investigation has been going on for 4 hours and a team of MHD, Bar, IHD, HDP and DBP lawyers are monitoring crime scene investigation efforts. Lawyers state that cluster bombs with thousands of small steel marbles were used in the massacre where one bomb went off in a trash can and another was planted in the car of a street peddler who was selling tea in front of the power transformer during the rally.

Many people were wounded in their feet because the bombs were planted in altitudes close to ground level, which in turn decreased the number of casualties. Lawyer at the crime scene also report that the bomb included a camping cylinder and a cell phone, and the police found finger prints on the remains of the camping cylinder.

Upon the lawyers’ request, police gathered the security footage of all buildings and businesses nearby the crime scene. However, police officers stated that the recordings may have been blocked due to the flags and banners at the rally site. Police also met with municipal authorities to obtain security footage shot by cameras in the streets.
