Bursa 1st Enforcement Judicature has banned Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and other prisoners held in İmralı the right to a visit, written communication and phone conversation during the course of the State of Emergency set to last three months across Turkey.
The Court also restricted the documents to be submitted by the lawyers of the prisoners in İmralı Island Prison.
The court decision constitutes another major step to increase concerns over the situation of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan who is denied meetings and visits since April 5, 2015 and the visit demands of whose family and lawyers have all been rejected in the wake of the coup attempt of July 15.
The ban by Bursa 1st Enforcement Judicature was imposed on demand from Bursa Public Prosecutor's Office on the grounds of "probable orders and instructions to be given from İmralı to put the country through a trouble".
The court decision came to light in the response of Bursa Public Prosecutor's Office to the lawyers and family of Öcalan who filed another application for a visit earlier today.
