Australian Socialist Alliance organised a conference in solidarity with the peoples of Papua New Guinea, Chile, Sudan and Rojava.

The Democratic Kurdish Community Federation (DKTF) Co-chairperson İsmet Taştan attended the conference as a speaker.

Speaking about the democratic project implemented in Rojava, Taştan said that the Rojava Revolution has become a hope for peoples.

“Women, who had been treated as slaves before, obtained rights and became leaders with the Rojava Revolution. This has been achieved thanks to the project of Kurdish People’s Leader Mr. Abdullah Öcalan.”

Taştan pointed out that the Turkish state attacking to invade the region targeted the co-existence of peoples.

DTKF Co-chair expressed their solidarity with the peoples of Papua New Guinea, Chile and Sudan.
