Consecutive blasts kill 1, wound 11 in Kirkuk

At least one person died and 11 others got wounded as Kirkuk city of South Kurdistan was shaken by consecutive blasts on Saturday.

According to reports, an explosion occurred near the Abrar Mosque at Quds Square in Kirkuk on Saturday.

Kirkuk police reported that one person died and 11 others including women and children got wounded as a result of the explosion.

Short after the explosion, another blast took place on Baghdad Avenue. Results of the incident were not immediately clear.

One other explosion occurred in Musela neighborhood. It is not clear yet if the attack carried out with a bomb-laden vehicle resulted in injuries or casualties.
