A construction worker who was detained in Mersin on the grounds of his social media posts has been jailed for “spreading terrorist organisation propaganda”.
A construction worker who was detained in Mersin on the grounds of his social media posts has been jailed for “spreading terrorist organisation propaganda”.
Construction worker Rıdvan Eşsiz was taken into custody by gendarmes in Mut district of Mersin on the grounds of his social media posts.
Following procedures at gendarmerie outpost, Eşsiz was referred to court which ordered his imprisonment for allegedly “spreading propaganda for a terrorist organisation” in his posts on social media.
