Unusual protest on Saturday by Kýzýltepe city council. To protest against the arrest of mayor Ferhan Türk and his deputies as well as 25 councillors, many councillors met next to the prison.

The council has decided to hold the first meeting of the month next to the prison to highlight the ongoing operation against Kurdish politicians.
