Hezo (Kozluk) People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) co-chair Ömer Emen was taken into custody in a raid on his house. The arrest was made within the scope of an investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Emen was taken to Batman Provincial Police Department and sent to the courthouse after giving his statement.
Emen, who was connected to Ankara via SEGBİS, was sent to prison on the allegation of "membership in a terrorist organisation".
