DEM Party Van Provincial co-chairs taken into custody
In a new police operation carried out in Van, many people were taken into custody, including DEM Party Provincial co-chairs Veysi Dilekçi and Gülşen Kurt.
As part of the political genocide operation carried out in Van, many houses were raided early on Tuesday.
At least 15 people were taken into custody, including Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Provincial co-chairs Veysi Dilekçi and Gülşen Kurt, Hanım Kaya, co-chair of MEBYA-DER (Association for Assistance and Solidarity with Families in the Cradle of Mesopotamia), TJA (Free Women's Movement) activist Aynur Sarıca, DEM Party Edremit District Co-Chair Cemil Baydar, Peace Mothers Sarya Süer, Hazal Süer.
The detainees are being held at the police station.
