Turkish police took Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Youth Council member Harun Cavğun into custody following a house raid in Van's Rêya Armuşê (Ipekyolu) district on Friday evening.

It was not known where Cavğun was taken and why he was taken into custody.

Turkish police and gendarmerie raided the same address two days ago. The police insulted the women during the raid and also broke the front door windows of the house.
