Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaþ responded to Prime Minister Erdoðan’s comments on his way back from France. Erdoðan said that “Those protecting the KCK should review themselves. It should be considered if this issue is connected with Ýmralý”. Demirtaþ answered the prime minister underlining that the “Plan B, the Prime Minister, stepped in the process when KCK operations lost their legitimacy.”
Demirtaþ stated the following points in his reply to Erdoðan on Twitter;
- Those protecting the KCK protect the BDP, not the KCK (Kurdish Communities Union).
- They protect democracy in fact. However, the Prime Minister has already had the last word with his slander, threat and false statements.
- As soon as receiving the instruction, the media organs of the AKP declared BDP as terrorist.
- Remember that we refuse the existence of a relationship between the KCK and detainees, not the existence of KCK. Don’t you, who declare even a professor is a terrorist, have any conscience left?
- Will you know no bounds in immorality? Don’t you, the AKP members, primarily have talks with the KCK organization?
- It must be an easy way to get back on the BDP for your inability to arrest the KCK members with whom you have been meeting until not long ago.
- Leaders who become cruel as they grow stronger grow into dictator, while those who become naïve as they grow stronger grow into people’s leader. Is the difference clear?
- Not getting tired of giving Obama a hug, Mr. Prime Minister couldn’t even temp to shake the hand of an opponent in his own country.
- Have us arrested and negotiate with the KCK if this will bring peace. But if it doesn’t, don’t forget that all these arrests will cause trouble to you
