Provocations and military build-up surrounding Shengal continue. Kurds living in Europe and their friends are protesting the dirty policies carried out against Shengal.

In an action led by NAV-BEL and YJK-BE in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, the agreement between the KDP and the Iraqi government regarding Shengal and the military build-up in Shengal were protested in front of the Iraqi Embassy.

The demonstration ended with activists hanging a banner on the walls of the Iraqi Embassy and chanting “We will not allow Iraq, the KDP, Erdogan, or ISIS to invade Shengal”.
