Demonstrations in solidarity with Kurdish hunger strikers continue all around the world.

Basel

A demonstration was held in Basel city of Switzerland to draw attention to the hunger strike resistance, led by HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven.

Activists joined the DTK co-chair and Hakkari MP Leyla Güven in her demand to end the absolute isolation against the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Kurds and their friends gathered at the central train station to join the demo promoted by CDK-Basel and opened a banner reading “Hunger strikes to counter isolation against Öcalan”.

Marburg

In the German city of Marburg, activists promoted a march to support Leyla Güven and the hunger strike resistance.

Some 250 people attended the march and walked from Hauptbahnhof to Marktplatz.

The march was organized by the Marburg People's Council, the Kurdistan Students' Union (YXK) and German friends.
