DİHA journalists İbrahim Aslan, Ömer Çelik and Pınar Ural apply to the Minister of Justice to visit Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı. 

The journalists applied for a visit stressing the need to speak to Öcalan who they consider as the main actor in forging peace process.

Before DIHA, Ömer Şahin, a journalist with the daily Radikal had applied to visit the Kurdish leader.
