Omer Celik, a reporter for Dicle News Agency (DIHA) has been attacked by an ultranationalist group including his class mates- known as "ulkucu". Celik has been taken to hospital by his friends after attack. His conditions are said to be serious.

Here is what happened: reporter and student Omer Celik went to his school –Marmara University Communication Faculty- in the evening hours. He realized that he was being followed by his "ulkucu" (nationalists) class mates after he left the school. He was waiting for the bus to go home when he was attacked. Celik’s head and right arm have been broken. He was given numerous stitches to his head and his arm broken in 3 different points has been encased in plaster.
