A demonstration in Diyarbakýr organized to protest against the massacre carried out by Turkish warplanes in the province of Þýrnak (village of Roboski) on Wednesday night has been heavily attached by police.
At least 10 thousand people took to the street in the main Kurdish city to protest at the latest massacre which claimed the life of 35 people, many very young.
Police attacked the crowd and BDP city co-chair Zübeyde Zümrüt has been wounded along many other people.
Police threw tear gas trying to disperse the crowd.
A demonstration in Yüksekova also was attacked by police. Thousands gather to protest against the massacre in Uludere and were met by police violence.
BDP Hakkari MP Esat Canan, and BDP city president Rustem Demir were among the crowd of people and civil organizations when the police attacked the demonstration. Shop keepers did not open their shops today in sign of mourning.
Students boycotted school lessons this morning after learning of the massacre and joined the march.
