Labor, Freedom and Democracy Block’s Diyarbakir MP Candidates met with the public and asked to support Hatip Dicle who is under arrest within the KCK case.
The Block’s Diyarbakýr Independent MP candidates Leyla Zana, Nursey Aydoðan, Emine Ayna, Þerafettin Elçi and Altan Tan continued their visit to shopkeepers on behalf of the Block’s arrested candidate for Diyarbakýr, Hatip Dicle. Visiting the shopkeepers in Dicle city and asking people’s vote for Hatip Dicle, candidates held a public meeting at the Metropolitan election Office of Dicle.
Diyarbakýr MP Candidate Ahmet Tan said the followings; “Leyla Zana spent many years in prison. Hatip Dicle was held behind bars for 10 years and he is still under arrest despite the fact that his crime is not clear and certain and his trial was not performed properly. Which crime did our companies commit except from speaking of the presence of a people. The history of the Kurdish people will be written after many years. Our children and grandchildren will ask us whether these are true or a story, when they read the writings.” Tan’s speech was followed by the slogan chanted by hundreds “Amed is proud of you".
Following a lunch which was also joined by BDP Sur District Chair Mehmet Þah Teke, BDP Diyarbakýr Provincial Chair Mehmet Ali Aydýn, BDP Diyarbakýr district and provincial administrators, Kayapýnar former BDP Chair Zübeyde Zümrüt, BDP Diyarbakýr Provincial Deputy Chair Mehmet Aksünger, the Block’s candidates made visits to Dicle’s election offices and had talks with the citizens there.
VISIT TO SHOPKEEPERS FOR CANDIDATE ZANA
Bismil Mayor Cemile Eminoðlu, Bismil BDP District Organization’s Co-Chair Kerem Amaç and tens of accompaniers visited the shopkeepers in Bismil to give support to Labor, Freedom and Democracy Block’s Diyarbakýr Independent MP candidate Leyla Zana and asked for their support.
ELÇI: THE KURDISH ALLIANCE WILL CONTINUE TO GROW
The Block’s Diyarbakýr Independent MP Candidate Þerafettin Elçi made the opening of an election Office in Üçkuyu town of Yeniþehir district which was also attended by Yeniþehir Mayor Selim Kurbanoðlu, KADEP General Secretary Lütfi Baksi, KADEP Diyarbakýr President Cývan Roj Ceylan, BDP Yeniþehir District Chair Nihat Yýldýz and many citizens. Holding a speech at the opening, Yeniþehir Mayor Selim Kurbanoðlu stated that Kurds will never take a step back from the achievements they succeeded.
Speaking after Kurbanoðlu, Elçi began his speech with his demand from the public to bury all the parties at the polls in the coming elections. Elçi said the followings; “The great alliance achieved by Kurds for the elections will grow further after the elections. Yesterday I came from southern Kurdistan where we talked over our alliance which will continue to grow.” The opening ceremony ended with the concert given by Koma Arez.
