The Revolutionary Communes Party (DKP) / Union made a written statement on the occasion of the Week of the Immortals.
The statement said: "We know that the capitalist system enlarges wealth on one hand while widening poverty, deprivation and misery on the other. Capital accumulation also develops in all areas of our lives. We know that the crushing of national, sexual, and all other identities is linked to the logic of maximum profit, maximum sovereignty law. Each of the working principles of the capitalist system exists through the working class and the lives of the working people, trapped in the relations of commodity. How the capitalist wheel turns? We know it turns by crumbling lives between gears. And we know how to break this wheel."
The statement paid tribute to the martyrs of May by claiming their lives and promising to follow their path.
