DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chairs Aysel Tuğluk and Ahmet Türk sent a letter to Justice minister Sadullah Ergin regarding Öcalan's health. In the letter, dated 25 of July, the DTK co-chairs underlined that Kurdish leader Öcalan had asked both to the BDP (Peace and democracy Party) delegation and family members who went to see him to voice his request for an independent healtl consultants delegation to visit him. Öcalan has been complaining of several health problems and for this asked an independent set of doctors. The letter also reminded that the report on Öcalan's health should be made public. To date though the minister of Justice has not replied to Öcalan's request.
