Fifteen days closure sentence for the first Turkish daily in Kurdish language, Azadya Welat. This is the first decision of the new term in power by the AKP (Justice and Development Party). For Azadya Welat this is the ninth time that a court rule for a temporary closure sentence. Nine of the daily's journalists are in prison at present.

This time it was a Court in Istanbul which ordered the suspension of publication for two weeks.
