In a statement about the threatening remarks made in Germany by AKP Nevşehir MP Mustafa Açıkgöz against the Kurds and the opposition, the European Democratic Forces Union (ADGB) said that these hate speeches show that the AKP-MHP alliance is preparing for new attacks.
The ADGB said that Germany and the European states did not impose sanctions on the MİT and counter-guerrilla activities and, for this reason, Turkish state officials feel free to make threats and target opposition and Kurds. "Turkey is trying to do in Europe what they could not do in the attacks against Kurdistan. Turkey is threatening new massacres in Germany. The German state and EU states will be responsible for new attacks against Kurds, revolutionaries and the opposition if they do not stop the fascist AKP-MHP fascism.”
The statement added: "The KCDK-E and ADGB have repeatedly disclosed and shared the documents and information about these organizations with the public. However, these fascist organizations have not been considered a threat and have not been stopped.”
Talking about the criminalization policies towards the Kurds in Germany, the statement underlined that "the raids on Kurdish institutions in Nuremberg and the arrest of KNK member and former KON-MED co-chair Tahsin Koçer are examples of this policy of criminalization."
The statement ended with a “call on the German state to take a stance against this racist and fascist aggression. By stating that being a refugee is a human right, we state that it is the responsibility of protecting Kurdish, revolutionary and progressive people who have been forced to live in exile in Germany because of the threats to life they experienced in their country.
We call on everyone to take action against this racist, genocidal and fascist aggression.”
