A night was organized in Cologne in solidarity with the people of Rojava.

Photographs of Kurdish woman politician Hewrin Xelef, who was murdered on 12 October by Turkish-linked mercenaries, martyrs of the Honor Resistance, the three Kurdish women revolutionaries murdered on 9 January 2013 in Paris, Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan as well as PKK flags decorated the crowded hall. 

The night started with a minute silence, after which Kurdish politician Ahmet Aktaş addressed the crowd. Pointing out the importance of Öcalan for today's Kurdish people and the peoples of the world, Aktaş said: "The paradigm of Leader Apo has spread all over the world and is accepted among the peoples. I once again celebrate our people, our party and our leadership."

After Aktaş's speech, the written messages sent by Kurdistan Free Women's Party (PAJK) and Tevgera Ciwanen Şoreşger were read.

Hozan Kawa, hozan Seydxan, Çetin Oraner, Abbas Ahmed and Köln Folklore Group took the stage.
