The ‘eyes’ of 345 children killed by police forces in Kurdish cities will be looking at the conscience of people in Ankara, after Istanbul. An initiative called “Become an eye” is appealing to all sensitive institutions and people to participate in the action on 22 May on Yüksel District.
Having started in Istanbul last November, “Become an eye” action will be organized in Ankara on 22 May. A variety of non-governmental organization representatives, intellectuals and artists will come together on Yüksel District at 12:30 in front of Human Rights Monument.
Those who will attend at the action will wear school uniforms with the children names on them. The rest will be putting red wristbands on, which they will carry until a real peace and justice. The action aims to show the uniforms and wristbands as an eye looking at conscience.
