Êzidîs living in and around Hannover city of Germany will stage a demonstration tomorrow against the KDP attack on Shengal. The demonstrators will gather in Schillerdenkmal, Hannover at 13:00 on Saturday in protest at the attack of KDP's so-called 'Rojava Peshmergas' on Shengal.
Celle Êzidî Cultural Centre which organises the demonstration strongly criticised the KDP attack and called on all the Kurds to oppose the aggression.
A statement by Celle Êzidî Cultural Centre said the followings: “On an instruction of Erdoğan and the AKP, KDP President Masoud Barzani decided to launch an attack on Shengal and Rojava. A stance needs to be adopted against this provocation. Pressure should be put on KDP in order for it to correct the mistake and to recognize the free and autonomous will of the Êzidîs. We will never remain silent on KDP's attacks targeting the Êzidî people living in Shengal, and we will denounce this KDP policy against Êzidîs to the whole world. We will never leave our people alone in the face of the attacks conducted with a collaboration of the KDP/AKP and ISIS. We call upon our people across Europe and everywhere to not remain silent and to take to the streets against this betrayal.”
