Families’ appeal to visit Imralı rejected again
Families of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan and 3 other prisoners in Imrali appealed to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for visits, and were rejected again.
Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s brother Mehmet Ocalan and tutelar Mazlum Dinc appealed to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office through their lawyers to visit the prison, but the appeal was rejected.
Family members of other prisoners in Imrali, Hamili Yildirim’s brother Polat Yildirim, Omer Hayri Konar’s brother Ali Konar and Veysel Aktas’s sister Sabiha Aslan also appealed to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, and their appeals were also rejected.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office rejected the appeals, citing the Restrictions Against Convicts in the Execution of Sentences and Security Measures Act No.5275.
