The brother of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, Mehmet Öcalan applied to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office to be granted a visit to Imrali. Likewise, relatives of the other prisoners held in the prison-island applied with the same request.

Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Ali Konar, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım, Veysi Aktaş's sister Melihe Çetin all applied to Bursa Prosecutor’s Office.

Öcalan's lawyers, Rezan Sarıca, Raziye Turgut, Ibrahim Bilmez and Serbay Köklü, had applied to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on Thursday, asking to meet their client. The lawyers' application has gone unanswered.
