FARC cooperative meets UN Verification Mission

Former guerrillas are promoting production projects to reintegrate into civilian life.

One of the point of the Final Peace Agreement signed by the former FARC guerrilla movement and the Colombian government deals with the reincorporation of former guerrillas into civilian life.

This point of the agreement, like many others, has being unfortunately being implemented very slowly, although former guerrillas have been working to set up cooperatives and start production projects by themselves in the Territorial Spaces where they are living.

The Comprehensive Cooperative of Farmers and Peace Builders, Cooemprepaz, made up of former FARC guerrillas have met the UN Verification Mission in Colombia and Paso Colombia to finalise some production projects in Guapi.

The projects deal with farming and vegetable production.
