Fifteen bodies brought to Malatya

Fifteen bodies have been brought to the Forensic Medicine Institution in Malatya. The bodies which have been held at Þýrnak State Hospital for two days are claimed to be those of 15 HPG (People’s Defense Forces) guerrillas who allegedly lost their lives in a clash in Uludere district of Þýrnak the day before.

Bodies will reportedly be performed autopsy in Malatya.

The Turkish army launched an air-supported operation in the rural area of Uludere on 13 February. Two soldiers died and three others were wounded in the clashes between soldiers and guerrillas.
