Fifty-two Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) executives, have not been released when they appeared in court in Adana on Thursday. Twelve of the politicians have been detained for 28 months.

The defendants are being accused of being members of an illegal organization. Adana High Criminal Court rejected the lawyers’ demand for the release of the jailed defendants and postponed the next hearing to June 12.
