Fourteen people had been taken into custody following a series of house raids police carried out in Şırnak as well as its Cizre district and Kumçatı town on 1 July.

They were referred to a court in Diyarbakır which released the detainees after taking their testimony. Five among them have been detained and brought to Diyarbakır once again today after the prosecutor objected to the court's decision.

According to the reports received, many houses and workplaces have been raided today . Police arrested five but failed to reach others for whose arrest a warrant has been issued in the scope of the same investigation.
