SDF fighters captured 5 ISIS members as the group was trying to infiltrate behind SDF lines in Keber village, west of Deir ez-Zor city centre. According to ANHA News Agency, one of the captured ISIS members is a senior member of the organization.

Keber (Kubar) village was liberated from ISIS last week. The village is near Harmushiyah and Al-Kasrah where ISIS has a heavy military presence.

SDF forces started Operation Cizire Storm started on September 9. The operation aims to liberate Deir ez-Zor governate from ISIS.
