Five wounded in Bağlar explosion – NEW

In a statement to the press at the scene of the explosion near Koşuyolu Sunay Street in Amed, Bağlar district governor Dursun Balaban said that five people have been wounded in the explosion. Balaban said the wounded have been taken to Diyarbakır public hospital and Dicle University Hospital. Remarking that the investigation into the explosion is continuing, Balaban told that the governor would make a detailed statement after the finalization of the police investigation into the incident.

An eyewitness who spoke to ANF said that "I was at the scene when the explosion occurred. A child aged 17-18 lost a hand of his and his face was drenched in blood".

Another eyewitness, Bayram Göztürk, said that "A 15-year-old girl, one child aged 5-6 and two boys 18 something were wounded in the explosion. After hearing a noise, we ran to the scene. One of them lost his fingers. We immediately called ambulances and sent them to hospital".
