Trial in the case opened against HDP Amed MP Ziya Pir with a demand of up to 33 years in prison, has been held at Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Penal Court today.

While Pir did not attend the hearing, the court ruled 'forced court appearance' and judicial control on leaving the country for the HDP parliamentarian. The trial was postponed to March.
