A fire has been spreading rapidly in the Lice district since Tuesday morning. The fire had broken out in the Kerwas (Yalaza) area for unknown reasons and is spreading rapidly towards the village of Licok (Çavundur) due to strong winds. The villagers tried unsuccessfully to put out the fire. Even the fire brigades, called by the villagers, were unable to control the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
