Four people including a DBP politician detained in Ankara

The political genocide operations of the Turkish regime continue increasingly.

House raids were carried out in Ankara on Saturday in the scope of an investigation launched by the Chief Prosecutor’s Office. Four people have been taken into custody during the operation carried out by anti-terror units of the provincial security directorate. The detainees include former co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Sincan district branch, Ayten Karaman, and Kurdish musician Bahoz Aslan.

The investigation was reportedly initiated with the allegation of “acting for an illegal organisation” and access to the file has been interdicted.

Lawyers of the detainees said they have met their clients but have not been able to obtain information on the file. According to lawyers, the detainees are expected to be referred to the prosecutor’s office next week.
