Four people were detained following house raids carried out by police during the night in the Artuklu district of Mardin.

Abdülkadir Çalhan, who was taken to the TEM Branch of Mardin Police Department, has three children in prison. Çalhan and his son Abdullah Çalhan were detained.

During the raid, Çalhan was ordered to lay on the ground.

Police officers who came to the house allegedly said things like "These are terrorists. Why are you opening your door" referring to the members of the HDP Youth Assembly.

Özgür Bulut, a member of HDP Youth Assembly, who was a guest at Çalhan's home, was detained together with another person whose name could not be learned.
