Police carried out simultaneous raids at the houses of many students at Bingöl University early this morning.
While 14 students were taken into custody following the raids, police also seized the magazines and books found in the raided houses.
It is reported that the detentions were performed upon the instruction by the Public Prosecutor of Diyarbakýr.
Detained students are held at Bingöl Security Directorate and they aren’t allowed to see their lawyers on the grounds of the confidentiality verdict on the file.
