The fourth Amed Book Fair will begin on 14 May with the participation of 130 publishing companies and non-governmental organizations.

Speaking to press on Monday, General Coordinator of Cultural Fairs, Deniz Kavukçuoğlu, said that this year's book fair will take place with a more intense participation than previous years, and than the one in 2012 which was visited by 97 thousand people.

Kavukçuoğlu remarked that the program of the book fair will also include 50 cultural events, such as conferences, conversations, panels and poem performances, and signature days when 300 writers will meet with their readers.
