France calls for urgent UNSC meeting on Turkey’s Afrin operation

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian called for an urgent meeting by the United Nations Security Council to discuss Turkey’s invasion operation against Afrin.

French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian called for an urgent meeting by the United Nations Security Council to discuss Turkey’s invasion operation against Afrin.

French Minister of the Armed Forces, Florence Parly also made a statement on the matter and said the Turkish state must stop its attacks on the Kurds because this would weaken the fight against ISIS.

Speaking to France3 TV, Parly said these attacks would disrupt the strength of Kurds that are fighting actively against ISIS with the international coalition.
