The three-day long march in the German city of Hamburg, organised as part of the 'Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan' actions concluded with a demonstration in the city center.
During the demonstration on Jungernstieg Avenue next to the Hamburg Parliament, a delegation on behalf of the marchers handed in a file detailing the isolation imposed by the Turkish state on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the current situation in Kurdistan territory to the Green Party MP for Hamburg Filiz Demirel.
While the first second days of the long march did not witness any problems, the negative attitude manifested by German police this morning grabbed attention after German Chancellor Angela Merkel's meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday.
Police said they will not allow the T-shirts featuring Abdullah Öcalan worn by the demonstrators and the flags of Kurdish institutions they carried.
Rejecting and resisting the demand of police, demonstrators marched to the parliament with their t-shirts and flags.
