'Freedom for Öcalan' march in Oslo

A demonstration was held in Oslo, Norway to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan at the 18th anniversary of the February 15 conspiracy.

Hundreds joined a march organised by Democratic Kurdish Society Center and UNGKURD Youth's Association in the capital of Norway, Oslo to demand freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan at the 18th anniversary of the conspiracy targeting him.

During the march from Democratic Kurdish Society Center to Oslo central train station, which began at 10:00 yesterday morning, protestors walked behind a banner which read “Freedom for Öcalan” as well as posters of the Kurdish leader and flags of the Kurdish movement PKK as they protested the international conspiracy of February 15, 1999.

After covering 25 kilometers, the mass reached Oslo central train station where the march ended today with a speech held by Oslo Kurdish Assembly Co-chair Baki Budak.
