An attack on a car last night left one commander dead and one other person injured. According to reports coming through the attack took place in Nusaybin district of Mardin.

Mardin Governor Turhan Ayvaz named the military who died as sergeant major Oktay Aydoðan to the state-run Anatolia agengy, while Rýfat Un was wounded and taken to Nusaybin State Hospital. Turkish security forces have launched a military operation in response to the attack.
