German poll: Most feared leaders are Trump and Erdogan

Asked by a German poll "Which leader are you most afraid of?", most people answered they were most afraid of US President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Bild, one of Germany's leading daily newspapers, published a survey of German fears and concerns. The results of the survey conducted by Insa, a public opinion research company, appeared in Bild's current (Monday) issue.

42 per cent of respondents said they were concerned that climate change would disrupt the world's security and stability. 38 percent answered they were concerned about "Islamic terror", while 33 percent answered they were concerned about the migrants incoming.

In addition, 25 percent said to be worried about right-wing governments spreading around the world, while 20 percent pointed to developments in the US and commercial conflicts between global powers.

Asked “Which leader are you most afraid of?" 80 percent of the interviees said US President Donald Trump, 75 percent Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 73 percent North Korean President Kim Jong-un, 63 percent Russian President Vladimir Putin.
