Gever People's Initiative called on the Kurdish people to “enhance civil rebellions” (serhýldan) in memory of Confederation of Kurdish Communities (KCK) Executive Council Member Rüstem Cudi (Rüstem Osman), People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Military Council Members Çiçek Kýçi (Guhar Çekirge), Aliþer Koçgiri (Yücel Halis) who lost their lives in the air strikes on October 10th and Baz Mordem (Emrah Bayer) who lost his life in the clash at Kato Mountain.
The statement issued by the Initiative stated their sorrow for the loss of HPG council members and saluted the retaliatory action in Çukurca which was carried out in memory of eight HPG members.
Gever People's Initiative drew attention to the followings; “The Fascist Republic of Turkey and the Erdoðan government have made a decision to isolate Leader Apo who created all our values, to leave the Kurdish people without freewill and honor, to destroy the freedom movement and to slaughter the people. We salute eight comrades of us who have died during the recent attacks and we, with the determination and consciousness we inherit from them, announce that this fight will continue until Leader Apo is freed, the Kurdish identity is recognized and the democratic autonomy is built.
The statement called on the Kurdish people to respond to this process and to prejudice the process in favor of Kurds by enhancing riots against the clashes and losses as a requirement of adherence to Leader Apo and martyrs.
