Kurdish director Bahman Ghobadi is going to start shooting his first film shot in Turkey "Rhinos Season" within a month. The cast of the film is on the point of completion. The leading role is played by world-famous actress Monica Bellucci while Beren Saat, Belçim Bilgin, Caner Cindoruk from Turkey will also appear in the film. It is still not clear whether Tuba Büyüküstün will take part.

Kurdish director Bahman Ghobadi, the “Award Hunter” of international festivals who became famous with his film "A Time for Drunken Horses", is getting ready for his first film to be shot in Turkey. In his film "Rhinos Season", Ghobadi brings famous players together from the world, Iran and Turkey.

Monica Bellucci is playing the leading role with Behrouz Vossoughi, one of the the most important figures in Iranian cinema, while there are also names from Turkey such as Caner Cindoruk, Beren Saat, Belçim Bilgin. The shootings are starting in March. Italian star Monica Bellucci, playing the wife of Berhouz Vossoughi, will reportedly come to Ýstanbul between March 5 to 20 for the shooting.

Caner Cindoruk, playing the Kemal in the series Lady’s Farm, portrays the youth of Iranian player Vossoughi while famous actress Beren Saat will be playing Bellucci’s daughter. Another famous name in the film is Tuba Büyüküstün whose participation in the film however is not clear yet.

The film’s Turkey producer Menderes Demir remarked famous actors gladly accepted to work with Ghobadi. The film which will, as soon as completed, be shown in many festivals including the Cannes Film Festival is about a true story.
