Göksungur: Paris massacre targeted women-led resistances all over the world

KCDK-E Co-chair Fatoş Göksungur stated that the Paris massacre targeted women-led resistance all over the world, adding that France must shed light on the massacre.

KCDK-E Co-chair Fatoş Göksungur underlined the responsibility of the French state in the murder of Sakine Cansız, Leyla Şaylemez and Fidan Doğan on 9 January 2013 in Paris, and said: “We know who these dark forces are. A second massacre took place in the heart of Paris 10 years later, after Sakine Cansız and her two comrades were killed. Whoever planned the 9 January massacre is behind the 23 December massacre. Their target is the women's movement. The target is the resistance led by women all over the world.”

Göksungur said that the address to look to while searching for who gave the orders  was Ankara and continued: “The statement made by Süleyman Soylu was remarkable. He says, ‘President Erdogan has commissioned us to destroy all terrorists wherever they are in the world.’ This is actually the confession of the second Paris massacre. In this context, the French state is also responsible for exposing the truth about this massacre. Because the French state is under suspicion in the massacre carried out 10 years ago. That was actually an embarrassment for Paris and for the people of France. They are experiencing a second shame right now. Let them not forget the women who led the Paris Commune. Let's not forget Jeanne d'Arc. Because now, a hundred years later, Kurdish women are leading the way against reaction against fascism.”

Göksungur said that the Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center will remain open 24 hours a day until the bodies of the 3 martyrs are received. A march will be held today at 12 pm from Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center to the Kurdistan Information Bureau where Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez were murdered on 9 January 2013.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, a new march will take place from the Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center to the Ministry of Justice.
