Goran movement asked for big changes in Kurdish Regional Federal Government

In a document published by Goran Movement, the party asked for the extinguishment of Federal Kurdistan Regional Government and Kurdistan Regional Parliament. And the Kurdish government accused the Goran Movement of being destructive and said ‘we will give the necessary response’.

In its statement Goran Movement asked for the extinguishment of Federal Kurdistan Regional Government and Kurdistan Regional Parliament and forming of a neutral technocrat government instead.

Calling on the Kurdish government to resign on the notice, Goran Movement reclaimed the possessions sequestrated by governor and parties.

The 7 articles of the statement and and demands of Goran Movement are as follows;

* Dismiss of KDP and YNK from the government, parliament, judiciary, security forces and Peshmerga forces,

* Removal of Security Forces (Parastýn, Zanyari, Peshmerga) from the political arena,

* Extinguishment of KDP and YNK government and the forming of a neutral technocrat government instead,

* Extinguishment of Kurdistan Regional Parliament and enabling of making the elections in a transparent way   within 3 months,

* Restitution of the possessions sequestrated by governor and parties to the public,

* Withdrawal of the Kurdistan Region Constitution Draft and referring the draft to the new parliament to be formed.

Goran Movement asked the political circles in the Kurdistan Region to support the demands on the paper.

The Presidency of the Federal Kurdish Region replied that the notice of Goran Movement is destructive and illegal and the necessary response will be given.

KURDISH GOVERNANCE: WE WILL RESPONSE

Kurdistan Region Presidency statement issued by the Federal Goran movement is destructive and contrary to law, and 'response to' be given, he said.

The Presidency of the Federal Kurdish Region said the followings in its statement; “A demand which will abuse the security of the Kurdish people and the region, no matter whom it belongs to, can not be accepted. Our calling to the people of Kurdistan, the members and supporters of all political parties and the political institutions of Kurdistan is to come to attention against this plan because the aim of the plan is the destruction of all struggles given for years and all gains reached with the blood of our martyrs. We will give the necessary response to this destructive call in a shortest time”.
