The funeral ceremony of HPG guerrilla Zeki Savgýn (Kamuran Serbest) who lost his life fighting in the clash in Çukurca district of Hakkari was joined by thousands of people including BDP Batman provincial and district administrators, BDP Central Office Chair Þerif Çakar and MEYADER Batman Branch Chair Yaþar Kurt.

Savgýn had torture marks on his body, his right hand was broken and he had a rope mark on his neck, his body was buried at Ýpragaz Cemetery in Batman in accompany with slogans.

Making a statement here, MEYA DER Batman Branch Executive Abdulselam Durak demanded an immediate and to the conflict environment where bodies are buried day after day.

While the mass dispersed after the speech, a blast bomb exploded in a side street.

Two days ago 50 thousand people joined the ceremony in Cizre for PKK commanders who lost their life during the air-raids of 10 October 2011 on Xakurke-Xinere region. During this wretched assault Rüstem Cudi (Rüstem Osman) Member of the KCK Executive Council, Çiçek Kýçi (Guhar Çekirge) Member of the HPG Military Council, Aliþer Koçgiri (Yücel Halis) Member of the HPG Military Council and precious militants of the HPG Nazlýcan, Eþref, Roj Amara and Dr. Amara lost their life. In addition, on 8 October 2011 during the clashed in Kato Marinos area former member of the KCK Executive Council Baz Mordem and one of the HPG militants Bager Tatvan had also lost their life.
