HBDH claims action in Istanbul in memory of Kasım Engin
The HBDH said it carried out an attack in memory of PKK Central Committee Kasım Engin who fell martyr during Turkish airstrikes on 27 May.
In a written statement, the HBDH said: “On the night of 10 June 2020, our Dilan Kortak Revenge Unit carried out an action on the construction equipment owned by public institutions in Esenyurt, Istanbul. Construction machines were burned and become unusable.”
The Dilan Kortak Revenge Unit added: "Our action was made in memory of the PKK Central Committe member, the philosopher of the mountains, the freedom fighter Kasım Engin, who became immortal on 27 May 2020."
The statement stressed that: “The time of decline has begun for the AKP-MHP fascism. We will continue targeting the AKP-MHP fascism, which is hostile to workers, Kurdish people, Alevi, women, and nature.”
